HASTINGS — The Delton Kellogg-Hastings girls' swimming and diving team secured a thrilling 91-86 victory over Ionia High School on Wednesday, September 9th, pushing their dual meet record to 2-1 on the season. The high-energy meet came down to the wire, driven by dominant individual performances and a wave of improvement across the roster. DK-Hastings captured first-place finishes in their respective events thanks to strong efforts from Ainslie Dygert, Petra Foster, Annabelle Kuck, Natalie Miller, Lilly Randall, and Aubrey Yarger. Beyond the top podium spots, the team’s overall depth proved crucial to the win. Nearly every athlete on the roster set a personal record in her event, providing the essential points needed to edge out Ionia in the final tally. The team will look to build on this momentum when they host Sturgis High School for their next dual meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15th. The meet will take place at the Hastings Community Education and Recreation Center.
