Panthers Runner-Up Effort Highlights Southwest Michigan Rustbuster WARNER CAMP, MI — The Delton Kellogg varsity cross country teams competed on Wednesday, August 26 at Warner Camp, highlighted by a strong second-place team finish for the Panther boys and a fourth-place result for the Panther girls. Boys Varsity: Delton Kellogg Secures 2nd Place The Panther boys compiled 61 points to capture runner-up honors in the seven-team field, finishing behind meet champion Vicksburg. Senior Landon Madden paced the squad with a top-five performance, crossing the line in 5th place overall with a season-best time of 17:18.5. Sophomore Malachi Allersma added a top-ten finish, setting a personal best of 18:00.2 to take 8th place. Senior Riley Perley led the team, capturing 12th place with a season-best performance of 24:20.6. Senior Madison Gruber was next across the line for Delton Kellogg, clocking a personal best of 25:54.0 for 18th place, followed closely by senior Evelynn Courneya in 19th place at 26:11.2.
