Delton Kellogg Boys Track & Field – Strong Start in SAC Double-Dual The Delton Kellogg boys track and field team delivered an impressive performance on April 20 at Galesburg-Augusta in their first SAC double-dual meet of the season. While final team scores are still being calculated, the Panthers made a major statement—scoring over 100 points against Galesburg-Augusta and narrowly defeating defending SAC Central Division champion Constantine in a tightly contested matchup. The meet featured several standout performances, with multiple Panthers earning first-place finishes. Keegan Hill led the way with dominant performances in both the high jump and long jump, while Jace McPheeters sprinted to victory in the 100m dash. Landon Madden showcased his versatility by winning both the 110m and 300m hurdles, and Nick Muday secured first place in the pole vault. In the field events, Evan Fleser claimed the top spot in discus. Delton Kellogg also excelled in relay events, sweeping three races. The 4x100 relay team of McPheeters, Michaelangelo Orso, Jessey Ellard, and Logan Damron raced to a first-place finish, followed by victories in the 4x200 relay (Hill, Orso, Ryan Sinclair, Damron) and the 4x400 relay (Hill, Jack Favreau, Jarno Wiebinga, Madden). Additional strong performances came from several Panthers who earned second-place finishes. Logan Damron placed second in both the 100m and 200m dashes, Nick Muday finished runner-up in the 1600m run, and Malachi Allersma took second in the 3200m run. The Panthers will look to carry this momentum into their next meet on Wednesday as they compete in their second SAC double-dual against Kalamazoo Christian and Parchment. Great work, Panthers—keep it rolling!
