Spring Sports Tryout Information Delton Kellogg High School Athletics is excited to begin preparations for the upcoming spring sports season. Student-athletes interested in participating in a spring sport should take note of the official tryout start date and times, which will take place on Monday, March 9th. Spring sports offer students a great opportunity to compete, build teamwork skills, stay active, and represent Panther Athletics. Students interested in joining a team should plan to attend their respective tryout session and ensure that all required athletic forms and physicals are completed prior to participation. Spring Sports Tryout Schedule All spring sports officially begin on March 9th, with the following tryout times: Baseball: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Field or Main Gym) Track & Field: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Track or Aux Gym) Golf: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Room 107 or Balcony) Girls Soccer: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Field or Aux Gym) Softball: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Field or Main Gym) Student-athletes should plan to arrive dressed and ready for activity, and should check with their respective coaches or the athletic department regarding equipment, meeting locations, and any additional information. Important Reminders for Athletes & Families: Before participating in tryouts, all student-athletes must: - Have a current physical on file with the athletic department - Complete all required athletic registration forms on Final Forms - Ensure they are academically eligible according to school and MHSAA guidelines - Bring any necessary sport-specific equipment Coaches and staff are looking forward to welcoming both returning athletes and new participants.
